Robert is a commercial lawyer, specialising in drafting documentation and dispute resolution in business, employment and land law contexts, though he also acts in private law disputes. He is a graduate of Exeter University (LLB Hons) and was admitted as a solicitor in 1980. After work with a firm in Brighton, he joined Reynolds Parry Jones in 1983, becoming a partner in 1987.
Throughout his career he has specialised in a range of commercial work, including drafting business documents, employment dispute resolution, sales and transfers of shares and businesses, general business disputes, and disputes about land and rented property. He takes many cases to Court and Tribunals, but also has much experience of negotiating settlements and using mediation and other dispute resolution mechanisms. He has given employment law lectures, free of charge and open to any local business.
He is Honorary Solicitor of High Wycombe & District Citizens Advice, and a Director of One Can Trust, a local Food Bank.
His interests include music (singing in two choirs), reading Latin literature (in Latin) and keep-fit activities (walking and sessions at the Sports Centre).
Robert is married with two children and lives in High Wycombe.
