Graham graduated from the University of Bristol in 1978 with a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB with Honours) and was articled at Pitmans, a commercial firm in Reading, and qualified as a solicitor in April 1981. He joined the firm as an assistant solicitor in 1982, becoming a partner in 1983. Since 1998, he has been head of the commercial team in the firm and became senior partner in 2011.
Graham has dealt with a wide range of property and commercial matters for both private developers, charities and company clients, and has a particular interest and expertise in commercial property matters.
He also runs a Commercial Property Club for local surveyors, agents, accountants and other property professionals which meets on a regular basis throughout the year.
He is a former chairman of the Bucks, Berks and Oxfordshire Young Solicitors Group and a former chairman of the Bucks, Berks and Oxfordshire Professional Council (representing accountants, solicitors and surveyors in the three counties).
He lives near Princes Risborough with his wife and has three children. He is interested in travelling, walking, and public speaking and is a member of several local service organisations.
