The firm has a very strong reputation in Commercial Property and maintains links with land agents, surveyors, architects and other property professionals.
The Property Club, which meets quarterly under the direction of partner Graham King, was established as a structured means of keeping property professionals up to date with changes in the law. Membership is by invitation but is normally available, on application, to those who work in the property field in a professional capacity.
Objectives of the Club
The primary objective is to provide regular updates on the law relating to commercial property to those whose work is concerned with commercial property or the provision of financial and other services to those who deal in property.
A secondary objective is to provide a forum for members to discuss property issues, local developments and exchange experiences with others.
Membership
Membership is open to commercial property agents, surveyors, architects, land agents, bankers, accountants or other professionals with an interest in commercial property. Membership is corporate rather than individual so that substitute delegates may attend meetings if required. Up to two delegates from each organisation can attend any meeting.
Meetings
Meetings are held quarterly in the months of January, April, July and October commencing at 9.30 am and ending around 11.00 am.
Meetings are informal but always include an update on changes/developments and likely developments in the law by one of the firm's property specialists.
Most meetings are held at The High Wycombe Cricket Club (off London Road, Wycombe - adequate free parking).
Fees
A nominal fee of £100 plus VAT per annum is levied on each member firm to cover the costs of the venue and refreshments and administrative and other incidental costs. We are more than happy to invite you to a meeting at no charge or obligation.
The Club is run by partner and commercial law specialist Graham King, aided variously by other colleagues as appropriate.
Please call Graham on 01494 525941 or email him at Graham.King@rpj.uk.com for further information about the Club.
